BG Websaver 11 - Cash back deals?

OK folks, I need some help trying to get a cashback deal.

I've done all the comparison searches and worked out that British Gas Websaver 11 Duel fuel is the best for deal out there for my circumstances.

I've seen some posts stating you can you switch from BG standard tarrif to Websaver 11 and get a £50 cashback - does anyone know if this is true? What what i can see a lot of these deals have expired.

There surely has to be something, but i'm struggling to find any.

Can anyone help?

Fortunately British Gas have withdrawn from this tawdry practice. Probably only temporarily, but kudos to them for now.

Their Nectar offer (the £50 you mention) has also been withdrawn.

You may still be able to receive £15 or £20 if you use a cashback site to access a comparison site that you then use for the transfer.

When i decided to join british gas i phoned them up and they offered my a £100 credit to my gas bill once i have been with them for 12 months. They put me on the standard tariff to trigger this deal but as soon as my supply started with them i was allowed to change the tariff over to the websaver 11.
