I bought a sliver cross Dazzle in Jan. a few weeks after receiving it I had to send it back because the front wheel kept falling off the pram was also making a loud squeaking noise and it was very hard to push. (I was without a pram whilst they looked at it) They sent it back all fixed. Now the same thing is happening again and its awful to push to the point I cant used it. They have offered to take it back and fix it again. Do I have to do this or can I just ask for a refund. There is a 2 year warranty on it and I bought it on my credit card to at £110. Normally I would leave it but I don’t want to have to keep sending it back its not good as its not that old.
Thanks
Jo

Perhaps you could oil the wheels?
Do these things need servicing these days?0 -
yes they do i have oiled the wheels and it has made no difference.
my old pram used to squeek all the time and when i oiled it it was fine with this one no difference and the steering is just rubbish and hard to control breaks dont work and if i go down a kurb the front wheel comes off.0 -
I am also having problems with silver cross ( I posted about it the other day) according to Mothercare they have to fix it 3 times before they will replace or refund! Did you buy it directly from silver cross? Maybe it is worth asking for a loan pushchair while it is being fixed, mothercare have leant me one and I know that Mamas and papas offer this with their products too. Hope this helps xxx0

Mothercare don't make the law....
Had a problem with them ourselves. Again Silvercross pram which we use as a travel pram. Front wheel locked and wouldn't shift after less than 3 weeks use. Took it back to a store and they dragged out their guarantee document stating the stuff about repairing it. Pointed out that it also said "Does not affect statutory rights".
Refund followed very immediately afterwards.0 -
thanks guys i got it from the silver cross website they have said they do not offer a replacement pram which is a great help! i asked for a refund and they won’t just say they will fix it but if they find a problem that is none manufacturing they will charge. I don’t want to have to keep sending it back and being without a pram again don’t know what my rights are.0
