Advice needed on Balance Transfer

Hello,

I've just transferred the balance of my Halifax CC to MBNA and there is just over £2k of space left on the MBNA card, which is 0% for 14 months, and I can make further balance transfers to it in the first 60 days...

My Platinum Barclaycard is 0% on purchases until Oct with a £5k limit and is about two thirds full, and still being used (I slow stooze and put everything on CC).

So do you think its worth putting £2k from Barclaycard over onto the MBNA to fill the card? I would then keep using the Barclaycard until it was full for purchases. The barclaycard would be full in about 3 months if I did nothing. Or should I just wait and move it all in Oct? What are the pros and cons?

I have a good credit history in that I have never missed a payment, and have been stoozing for about two years.

  • Do you have an egg money card? I'm guessing not, else you'd want to use this for the 2K.
Otherwise, transferring from Bcard sounds a reasonable move. I guess you think so too. There's just the fee for you to consider and see if its still worth it...
    Friendly greeting!
