Hijack This log to analyse

penrhyn

PC was failing to boot up properly yesterday was getting " Failure to connect to system event notification service" along with a very slow start up, and loss of the aero desktop. ( Posted it elsewhere). Is OK now AV and malware scans showed nothing.
I'm posting the hjt log in case it shows anything nasty.
Would welcome any suggestions.

I admit I'm not the best person to read these logs and I'm sure others will come along and tell you to delete various things to speed up your computer (google toolbar) but there doesn't seem to be anything obviously wrong.

Can you post the last malwarebytes log (Open malwarebytes, LOGS tab at top, then click the last date which opens a word file).

Also as an aside, norton internet secuirty (although I have used it in the past for many years) can be good, it will massively slow down your computer. Therefore, when your subscription ends, install avira or avast which are much less resource hungry.

Norton is pretty zippy according to the latest tests:

Won't notice much difference speedwise compared to Avast. Better overall AV than Avast purely in terms of detections and performance, taking price and usability out of the equation.
