ka wont accept correct radio code?

hi,my daughters 2002 ka wont accept the correct radio code,ive tried it 3 times and its come up 30.00 mins to re enter,i dont wont to keep trying in case it locks.can anyone help??????

    Maybe it isnt the correct code ? What makes you think it is the correct code, if it is in the front of the service book, it maybe that you have the wrong service book, it happens

    As above, pull the radio out and get the M****** number off of the sticker and post in the Ford Radio Codes sticky at the top of this board. If it is doing the countdown then it is not the correct code. http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=49

    I had a problem with my girlfriends KA radio code before aswell and I just couldnt get it to accept the code do ended up raplacing it hopefully you manage to get it working - ill be interested to here.

    Same old story, Car - battery change - code wiped on Radio.

    It's a 6000 model with the unit number M061678
