i cant manage a run today bitsy :o i'm feeling hungover but without a drop of alcohol :( i will end up in a heap on the floor

instead i have made some brownies for the bbq later. even if i dont go hubby will take them. made them so ds can have them too. he will be pleased.

talking of ds, hubby cooked a tomato and roasted pepper pasta bake yesterday. ds has had to cut down on tomatoey things due to the reflux but let him have that yesterday. two bowls later he was still asking for more :rotfl: i cant work out how to upload pics from my mobile to fb otherwise i would have posted a pic. his face and hands were covered. (it obviously wasnt going in his mouth quick enough with a fork:cool:)

he is bouncing off the walls today :rotfl: he keeps picking up the his phone(my old mobile) and saying 'hello, i'm crazy' :rotfl:

    Afternoon all,

Busy day here so my first chance to post. Just had a quick skim read so (((hugs))) were needed.

Lovely, sunny and blowy but the only washing I had was my think snuggly dressing gown that I managed to dip in my breakfast this morning so that's on the line:cool:

A day spent clearing out the laundry ready for painting. Its amazing what we have found lurking in the back of cupboards. So now have a boot full of rubbish and only about half way through. Just stopped for lunch which was leftover rogan josh and to watch the first half of the football.

Tea tonight will be ham tagliatelle out of the freezer so nice and easy. Just found an old backgammon set so going to teach DS3 how to play later. We used to play all the time when we first started going out and it must have been in there years.

Anyway back to clearing, have a good day all x

the sun is fab and thanks to the breeze i have stripped all 3 beds got them washed, dried and back on the beds :)

cut the grass, planted some onions and potatoes going to leave the rest as i think the night time temperatures may drop a bit over the next few days ( according to the 10 day weather forcast)

cooked a roast chicken dinner which was yum ( some chicken left over for tomorrow )
made a sponge cake and some choc covered flap jack as dm and stepd are coming tomorrow

helped DD2 revise for her science exams ( good job the book had answers ,'cos i hadnt a clue :o)

    Evening All :D

    :hello: newbies

Well the washing is all done, and dried outside, just two bits left on the line now in the sun finishing off, we will not mention the ironing mountain. There's only 2 of us, but with not doing any for 2 weeks . . . . .

Went to Aldi yesterday to stock up, and forgot eggs:mad::mad: But see they have the organic seeds in again, so will pop in and get some for the BM. Going to pop & see the GNeice & GNephew (&their M&D) tomorrow so will tie it in with that. DH picked a tray of tinned Spaghetti up instead of beans, trying to persuade me they are the same  I will try them but I wanted to take them back, may even do it tomorrow.

Manana is my comment of the day it seems. We have done another 2 seat bottoms on the dining chairs in the conservatory, so 3 done and 3 to go.

Sorry to hear about poorly kids, and those of use feeling carp. I have borrowed Bitsy's CBA for some reason, will shake myself out of it shortly.

    B-Weetabix, Skimmed Milk, Sweetner & a Banana
L- Ham Sandwich and Scotch Egg (not made but bought
D-Cold Meat/Pork Pie & Salad with B&B followed by Ice Cream

Must get the BM on tomorrow (manana again) you get out of the routine when away.

Sun shining and warm if you can get out of the wind.

    Take care all - DG

    Hello all!
Have had a serious CBA weekend here, worked 12 hour shift on Friday, was knackered and came home to kitchen trashed, so had a wee glass or 3 of wine and went to bed to ignore it, wide awake at 6 yesterday, did the washing mountain and shopping, came home, kitchen still trashed, did great aunts shopping this morning, came home and kitchen still trashed.......mommie meltdown quickly followed, then went out and bought huge scones to stuff face with, came back, kitchen...guess what?....OH now sulking in bed, cottage pie in oven, DS out at mates, DD still at work, wine glass back in hand, no room in sink for anymore dishes but I am not flipping doing them!!!!
Am working tomorrow while they are all off, so if I come home to the mess they have all been threatened with a black bag each to pack and go mess up somewhere else!!!! Can you tell that AF is here with a vengance????

Sounds like my house sometimes! :D

Lovely day today (for a change!). DS (nearly 4) rode his little 2-wheeler without stabilisers yesterday,so we took him onto the field near us for an hour this morning - rode his heart out, bless him! Then to a friend's son's party, whilst beef stew & dumplings simmered away - scrummy tea! Just going to put kids to bed, then Godzilla alongside ironing! May have a glass or two of cider with my ironing! :D

Choc-clare - hope you got my pm about the beans?

Hope you all had a smashing Sunday - see you later.

    A xo

Had a happy hour to myself this morning, now that we have a working printer, printing off vouchers.
I have asda ones for about 2 quid, tesco dtd for almost 20 quid, a voucher for a free box of crunchy nut clusters or something, and ordered some to come thru the post for things like fairy, bread, philly etc. Great fun. First time I have really looked at the vouchers board, but it was great!
As I have said before, doesn't take much to make me happy.
Spent a lovely sunny afternoon in the park reading the aforementioned, wonderful Mr Bryson, while the kids played. then back home for HM ice lollies, then steamed cauli and baby corn for tea with HM pasties from the freezer.

    Evening all

Hope you've all enjoyed bank holiday weekend, and we still have one more day off :D

Had lovely day/night yesterday, went out for 2 meals  :rotfl:. Lunch with ex colleagues and dinner with friends, took my friend with me too. We had a fantastic time, lovely food and company. We were out from 1pm til gone midnight, and drinking lots, and I didn't feel ill with vertigo at all :j and no hangover today :D

Today we went exploring. We went to a little seaside town and explored the harbour and beach, then to the country park where we took a picnic and explored, then to another seaside town with a big castle, and ran round the castle like kids :D.

    Utterly exhausted now though!

    Have a good evening all

Redruby - well done on the sales :T I don't seem to be making very much money on ebay at the moment. What sorts of things are you selling if I may ask :o

Last night it was 2 more radios and a flash gun thing for a really old camera, I can't take any credit though OH buys them for pennies, I just list and sell them :D

Hope you have all had good days xx
