Must say though, it looks like Egg is going to disappear. If you go to their homepage, the main product they advertise in the Egg Money Manager which when I signed up, they paid me £15!
And their once competitive savings account is now at 0.6%.
I received a letter from Egg today stating my instant access savings bonus will be ending at the end of May (which is very good of them) however I do believe the end is nigh for the Egg brand, and for me as a customer!

Its all very interesting...
I was under the impression ish... that the reason they allowed me to have the Barclaycard Platinum that they just offered me was because I have an outstanding amount on my Egg card 2.5k....
I was thinking, maybe they thought I would opt for an immediate balance transfer.. my old Egg card to me new Barclaycard , judging by that article... this wont be happening and its looking like another Barclaycard is onroute.... I hope they give me another generous allowance on this one too... 0% purchases would be cool for 18 months.0
