East Coast Trains - Complimentary Food?

What a joke. I am in 1st class on an east coast train. Wifi unavailable and they have run out of food. You used to get a voucher and if you didn't use it it lasted a few months..

This seems like a bit of a con to me. Stop the £30 voucher. Offer free food instead and then don't bother to stock the train with enough for the passengers.

NNnnnoooooooo!!! I cant believe the restraunts have been abolished. I used to love paying for second class knowing I could 'upgrade' for the cost of a meal. Stupid decision if you ask me!! :mad:

i suggest you write a letter of complaint to them - they are advertising the free food and drink like crazy on yorkshire tv and i know someone involved in this who says it should be fantastic - i'm sure her dept would find this interesting

Just to add to what sue stated, definitely write a letter of complaint, all it will cost you is time, as it's a free post address, enclose all your original tickets but take photocopies first as they have been know to lose letters of complaint.

To be fair East Coast are normally very good with regards dealing with their letters of complaint, but if you get no joy then post back and I'll give you another address to write to.
