I just had a look on twitter and tesco are saying they will honour the dtd.

So what are they honouring on - everything, certain items or backdated receipts? I am confused and intrigued at the same time. Can I contact them tomorrow if ANY of my receipts come back with just 'the difference' and claim I saw that advert ??

so what will they do? start honouring dtd again? I guess they can't only honour sunday's(sorry: today's) shops as people could have seen it and plan to check their weekly shop on a different day...?

Its an interesting one, not sure how they can do it, as people can claim to have seen the advert today and shop tomorrow if they purchased the paper this evening for example?

Also if you have any old receipts and not entered them yet and decided to after seeing the advert, then they surely have to honour those.

    Good old tesco :rotfl:

I would say that vouchers will come back as 'the difference' and it will be upon us to chase CS for them to honour DTD as per the advert. I could be wrong and Tesco will surprise us with a a nice gesture.

hmm... that would be a cheat on the "normal" customers, wouldn't it? if they have no twitter and know nothing about it...? why don't they switch to dtd for a week or so? lol lol lol
