Just looking for the £5 vouchers for Mr T's in the Sun and noticed on page 8 of the supplement bit it says and I quote ' If you find your comparable grocery shop cheaper at Asda we'll happily refund double the difference'. So go figure.

Yes - it was a completely incompetent promotion and the main idiots are Tesco's Marketing and IT departments.

I believe it'd come under the ASA rather than trading standards, no?

Got my last voucher today, should have been £17 but it was only £8 because I didn't submit it before the cut off :mad:

Just got hold of a copy of the Sun myself (coupons). Looks like they've got 2 ads in there. One of them is correct and mentions "THE difference" and the back page one mentions "DOUBLE the difference" as previously stated.

Hopefully they'll get some sort of fine at the very least for this.

I just had a look on twitter and tesco are saying they will honour the dtd.
