The Kumalas do look very similar to those on the Asda site - I wouldn't be surprised if they compared.

With a price difference of £3.81 it would be great if they did.

Has anyone tried this please? It would be great if thye did compare. I've got a large JTD from the last meak deal to use up plus a conditional spend.

I've found one wine with a large difference but I dont think I can buy wine for that much even using vouchers :D

Be warned - Tesco are dirty dirty dirty. They've not compared the Gold Blend coffee which Asda are selling at less than half price. T = £6.48, A = £3:

    3 x NESCAFE GOLD BLEND COFFEE 200G £ 19.44 N/A

    Shame on Tesco Price check...:(:(

See if you can return it, :o

Is there another coffee you can swap it for? Or get a couple of meal deals?

    Or just wine? :)

The Kumalas are different wines so won't compare - Merlot Shiraz Cabernet vs Kumala Cabernet Shiraz

  • The Veetee long grain rice comes back as N/A but the Basmati rice works fine.

The 4x tins of Tuna in Sunflower oil comes back as N/A.

Just a word of warning for anyone planning to buy them for price check.

Anyone else having trouble using a price check voucher in the Norfolk area? Apparently there have been a lot of fake ones being used so two stores yesterday refused to take mine even though they said there was nothing wrong with them the manager had just decided that as they had lost so much money over the fake ones he wouldn't be taking any more!?
    Can he do that?

Not viewed this thread before or used the price check so I'm still trying to get to grips with it and am a bit puzzled. It's such a long thread and would take some time to read so I've only read the last couple of pages to try and find what I'm missing but am finding it a bit esoteric. For a gone but was it any good thread it seems to be very active.

Apologies for the question as I'm sure I'm missing the point but why not just go to Asda to buy the cheap coffee? What is the current benefit of buying stuff at Tesco and then having it price checked
    Awaiting a new sig

Some people dont have an Asda close by, so they buy their shopping in Tesco and get a price check voucher back so shopping works out at the same price, plus they get their Tesco club points :)

Sounds like Mgr made that decision on his own - I would challenge it with HQ if it were me. He'll probably get slapped back into place as it's a national promotion.
