Call me thick, but if i have bought the choc orange in tesco i know they will refund 3.50 back, why wouldnt i just buy the choc orange in Mr A at the cheaper price. I can't see how i am gaining anything as mr T is refunding what I have paid out???? Told you I was thick!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Not everybody has an Asda close by so rather than drive x number of miles just buy them from Tesco and get the difference back“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Yay!!
Got my email. Been a long time since Tesco were this punctual.
1 x DOVE SOFTENING SILK BODY WASH 250ML £ 1.53 £ 1.00

Because the £5.50 gross spend in Tesco would get you at least 10 clubcard points for a £2 net spend, which is equivalent to a 5%-15% discount on that £2, depending on what value you place on clubcard points.0 -

£5.50 in T
£2 in A
That's £3.50 on your voucher
I've had it confirmed.
Why would you want to buy this to produce a voucher if you didnt want the chocolate orange from asda in the first place. Am i missing something0 -

Well it's not compulsory you understand. Why would you want to buy this to produce a voucher if you didnt want the chocolate orange from asda in the first place. Am i missing something
Yes. See above.
But let's try this one.
Let's take Terry's Chocolate Oranges as an example. 3 for a £5 in T's, and a £1 each in As.
Step 1: Nip down to the newsagents and buy a copy of the Sunday Mirror.
Step 2: Cut out the £5 off a £40 conditional spend at Morrisons voucher
Step 3: Go to Tesco and buy 24 Terry's Chocolate Oranges, present voucher at checkout and pay £35
Step 4: Submit receipt to TPC and get a voucher for £16
Net result; you have paid £19 for 24 chocolate oranges, roughly 80p each, so your conditional spend voucher has given you a 20% discount. Plus you now have 80 clubcard points. Had you gone to ASDA you'd have paid £24 for those Chocolate Oranges, so you are now better off to the tune of £5 plus 80 Clubcard points.
And if you don't like Chocolate Oranges, buy something else. They're not compulsory either.0 -

When items are part of a multibuy you tend to get all the required items as it makes more financial sense e.g. shampoo is £1.99 but it's 3 for 2 so although you only wanted 1, you end up paying for 2 to get the 3rd free. Seems fair enough as it'll get used anyway but quite often you only wanted one of an item or it's something perishable that you end up throwing in the bin.
Or take the scenario where you don't have an Asda nearby but they have that shampoo on offer and Tesco don't. Buy the required number of items from Tesco and submit the receipt details to get the difference back so you've just gotten the Asda deal price at Tesco plus clubcard points. It all adds up.
Or even if you do have an Asda nearby, if you split your shopping into 2 transactions, one for Tesco being cheaper and one for Asda being cheaper then you can save on petrol having to visit both stores and submit the receipt with the Asda deals and get their price plus cc points in Tesco.
Or another good reason is where Asda have a fab offer on but no stock. The most recent one I can recall is the Betty Crocker pancake mix. Asda had it for 20p but each pack had a 30p off coupon on it so you would have gotten 10p back if you bought it in Asda. Unfortunately my store was constantly out of stock so simply buy in Tesco, get the 2 cc points per pack and make 10p per pack if you used the vouchers and submit to the price checker!

noticed tonight that tetley tea bags are £5.28 for 240 and are only £4 for same in asda. so £1.28 voucher possible??
And as im not totally sure on the whole pricecheck thing still can someone clarify ...They are actually on 2 for £7 in asda so would it work to buy 2 in tesco for £10.56 then submit reciept? would i (hopefully) get £3.56 back?0
