    Yes, just got one of my replies back this morning - guess what "Tesco was cheaper" - so it seems now the only replies I get are the ones that tell me Tesco was cheaper - nice game!
    Still waiting for one that I resubmitted - I suspect that will still be "untraceable" !

    It still says:

    I have been keeping my vouchers going (on a smaller scale since demise of dtd) and had quite a few of the meal deals (3 of which gave you a £17.79 voucher back). As time goes by the value of the vouchers reduces and more cash is required but I am still getting my points in addition. Whilst I can I will still try and keep vouchers going until the promotion is pronounced officially dead in the water.

    Equally, if it were Asda offering a massive price difference such as what Ive suggested on the gillette fusion I'd be buying it in there and making use of the price guarantee and gaining 10%. Yes, its a hassle and time consuming and the rewards small these days but it keeps me happy!

    Besides, this is a tesco price checker thread - so why is it any surprise that I posted information about an item potentially giving a voucher back? Or maybe its because this thread has largely become a battle ground over whether it is acceptable or not to "reuse" vouchers.

    Strange I thought I was posting on topic.
    Why would you need to keep the vouchers going if they are jtd you could just pay cash it would be the same.What is the atraction of having a price check voucher over cash.Strange ?

    dont understand why would you be bothered about what gives a good return if it is no longer DTD

    Because;

    (1)it's a way of churning spending through your clubcard account and accumulating points,

    (2) it makes it easier to hit the target if you've got a conditional spend coupon (and thus increasing the effective discount from said coupon).

    Just got a voucher through from the weekend.

    I noticed the Bar code is different to previous ones.

    Tried to use a voucher under £10 at self scan today and it was refused by the scanner, said something about exceeding the value even though the voucher was for less than a shop.

    The voucher was out of date by a couple of days, anyone else had this?

    Have they changed the barcode prefixs?

    Can't see why they didn't have a system of unique barcodes and the ability to spot if one had already been used. Doesn't sound too difficult.

    Strange... I've received 3 vouchers today and I don't see any difference to previous barcodes. All the barcodes begin with 991409629 and then the amount of the voucher (if under £10). Are your vouchers for more than £10?
