Water leaking behind lead, between house & extension. How much to repair ?

Hi guys, I awoke this morning to find water streaming down my dining room wall. After investigation I discovered that the water running down the outside of the original house has found a way through the lead flashing that seals the extension roof (pitched) to the original house & into my dining room.
I have some roofers coming today to give me estimates on the cost of repairing the problem, so I thought I'd get a yard stick from the many experts on the site. What would you deem a reasonable price ?
Many thanks in advance.
Just been quoted £350+VAT to "raggle out the wall & flash it properly", any thoughts welcomed.
