I have VM and I pay monthly an extra 1.75 for the mobile option. Supposidly this is a discount off calls to mobiles. I have been on their web site, talked to them but NOBODY seems able to prove a discount, nor confirm the ammount. they keep using language like "up to 33%"
For the international service they CLEARLY show the cost of calls for both discounted and non discounted calls - this appears not to be the case for mobiles
the question here is how can i satisfy myself the dscount is being applied - i have zero trust in VM billing system.

Using http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php via there 0808 freephone number can work out cheaper depending on mobile number called, time of day,day of the week.0 -
For many years from my cable line I used Telesave to call mobiles, the cost is 9.5p/min at all times, charged by the second with no connection fee and a minimum call charge of 4p. I still use them no for any non-inclusive calls I need to make. You just call 0800 0662266 before the call. You can join instantly by calling 0800 066 4000. A £10 top up required - it's a prepay account (they might even be worth using for other calls, too, depends on your plan).
Hope this helps.
