That's why the original series stopped in 2003, and some episodes weren't aired until 2006. Quite why they got him to do a new series in 2007 I have no idea.
He used to get on the same train to work as me, they must have some good make up artists as "he was in a good mood" on a morning rush hour train into London0 -
If you think that's bad, Churchill gave this guy the sack when he got banned for speeding.
It's cost him thousands.

and again, only because he told them
Moral of the story, never volunteer anything to insurers, if they need to know they will ask0 -
Just noticed Elephant have from today changed their online quotation form to include pending prosecutions and speed awareness courses.
Having attended an SAC in November 2011 - At the time of my renewal in october this year the question on the quote form was:
"Do you have any motoring offences in the last 5 years resulting in a fixed penalty, endorsement, conviction or disqualification?"
To which many including myself answered "No".
I was not asked if I had attended an SAC.
Therefore, Surely I have not acted dishonestly as I was not asked "had I been on a SAC." and therefore should still be fully covered up to my renewal time. Is that right? SAC according to my insurance friend is not a material fact, and should only need to be declared if specifically asked. No offence was proved or accepted and therefore did not result in fixed penalty, endorsement or conviction. How could I answer anything other than "NO" to the question.
The help at the time read: "The details of any motoring offences can be found on your driving license. If you have a photocard licence this is information is held on the counterpart accompanying the photocard. My driving licence is clean.
The online quote from now as of 21/11/12 reads:
"Do you have any motoring offences in the last five years, including fixed penalties, convictions, driver awareness course or disqualifications or have any pending prosecution?"
The help reads:
In the majority of cases details of any motoring offences can be found on the paper counterpart of your driving licence. However there are often occasions where they may not appear on there as they may have been removed by the DVLA.
Please keep in mind we are asking for offences in the last five years regardless of if they have been removed by the DVLA.
In addition to this you must declare any driver awareness courses such as a speed awareness course.
So I thought I would pass that information to everyone. I will not be staying with Admiral or Elephant. It was absolutely right to be caught speeding at 35 in a 30 downhill in a non populated area between two villages. I had a brand new car with cruise control set at 30 but didn't know it wouldn't brake for me!. However, I honestly, following the course never go above 30 in any 30 zone. Anyone saying they will never get caught speeding because they don't speed, I was one of them too! Wait till you get to an unfamiliar area where there are a confusion of 20mph signs and you think you are the going limit at 30mph.0 -
I took out a policy with admiral on Monday morning just gone and there was no mention of the SAC either online or when I rang them to take out the policy, they just asked about convictions etc. (I havent done the SAC by the way just incase anyone from admiral is now trying to find out who I am to double my premium!!!)0

I have just had a letter from Admiral notifying me that my premium will increase by over 50%, over £100 for adding the SAC to my premium. Angry is not the word when I could have renewed with the AA for less.0
