finding a discarded receipt in either Tesco or Asda car park or left in a trolley. They only have two possible destinations - the bin or your purse!

Enter the details into either Tesco price check or Asda price guarantee (both sites within first post) and you may or may not be financially rewarded with a nice juicy voucher off your next shop. The time between picking it up and getting your result I liken to having a scratchcard awaiting rubbing. You may be a millionaire! In fact the few scratchcards Ive ever bought I reckon the return to be better with a wombled receipt.

Thank you lol I find everyone really friendly on here thank you. x

Wombled today for the first time in Asda got 5 receipts with a total of £9 well chuffed! Does anyone know if you can use them all in the same transaction? I have dreams of collecting them, doing a shop and then handing over all my vouchers like those people in "Extreme couponing" and the total coming to £0 lol is this possible?
  • I use multiple a.p.g vouchers in my store without a problem. I have my own limits on how low Im happy to go without drawing attention to myself. For example on a £10 shop Im happy to pay £3 using a.p.g vouchers. With the Asda price guarantee it does say in their terms and conditions that if you go to C.S they will give you it in cash. Ive done this also with a receipt that was paid for in cash (in case they ask to see the debit card it was paid with). Then add that cash to your vouchers and you'll pay pretty much nada.

This is from Asda price guarantee terms & conditions:
12.Claims will be made via voucher (in store) or e-voucher (online). You must ensure that you retain your original receipt as vouchers are not valid without the original receipt. In store, vouchers (together with the original receipt) can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts, or alternatively (again, together with the original receipt) redeemed at the customer service desk, if you are spending less than the value of the voucher.

I wish I lived closer to a large Tesco sometimes. I've always wombled a bit and managed to pick up the odd 10 Clubcard points here and there, but it's only recently I've started putting wombled receipts into the Price Check sites and the best I've done is 7p! I felt like such a stingy beggar handing that voucher over but hey it's 7p I didn't have before...!
