Its great to see you back CouponWoman and thank you for all the help you have given me.

I just had to share this , I went to Asdas this afternoon and they had tons of reduced items !! Even bread for 5p, pies for 10p, cookies and doughnuts for 1p a bag !! My hubby really enjoyed himself he was so excited as he went out wombling with me , but he picks up anything, including wet tissues lol but at least he enjoyed himself and was so pleased with his "wombles " lol lol it is good as the cleaner came over last week and he asked what we were doing , I said , my hubby just enjoys coming over and doing your job lol they seem to leave me alone now lol I only found 1 womble thou which was any good , but never know, it could be a winner for me !!

I have just looked in my fridge, at my 20 free rustlers !!!

Thanks to everybody on this thread who has helped me out so much during this last 2 months, and my hubby has never looked so happy as he happily wombles his time lol I think it makes him feel usefull.

I am still looking out for coupons, but I dont seem to find them , sorry.

Hey Jude, don't be sorry. You will find a coupon when you least expect it.

My DS does my wombling for me, while I spend it.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He pretends he is on his mobile and wonders around, and has climbed in bushes, climbed through a fence where builders were working, anything, he no longer cares if people look at him. He usually gets between 3-4 on a bad day and got 17 a couple of days ago. His biggest asda wombled coupon was for almost £10 and we have had 1 at 1p and 1 x 2p. I handed in 7 wombled apg receipts on Saturday and got around £8-9 off my shopping so only had to pay about £2 for the bits I wanted. I used a few coupons too, a couple of finish, 2 Huggies and 2 baby wipes ones.

Out of the 17 he collected, some were useless but the good ones totalled over £12.

We don't womble much at Tesco to be honest, as the car park is very clean.

My DS has seen other people wombling too, so there is competition to get to the receipts first.

Well done on your reduced items, bargains

    Happy couponning Jude

The baby wipes were 89p in wilkinsons for the last few weeks (not sure if they still are) so 11p off the rest of your shopping! :j also at 99p in home bargains :)

Even better clozza, well done for spotting them.:T:T:T:T

Thanks CouponWoman, I am really enjoying couponing and seeing hubby so happy wombling makes it all worth while , he has AD, so while he can still understand a little, it is good to do this for him. Also it is lovely when you get money off your bill , I actually got one womble last week for just over £6 !!!! I was well pleased !!
  • This has been happening since the start of the baby event. Though in my store they have gone back up to £5 :( so no free money.

Do your boxes have £5 coupons in them. The coupons are on the inside of the outer layer of cardboard, there's £2 off Huggies newborn, £2 off swimmers and a £1 off pure huggies baby wipes. If they do then use the huggies baby wipes asap as they are £1 in asda at the moment and that makes them free. :T:T:T I love freebies, don't you.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Nope - only £2 off swimmers and £2 off newborn nappies. Both of which I will pass on. Wish it was the wipes - thats the reason I bought the packs - no need for the nappies (but will keep for my next nappy cake) but wipes are well used!
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

I think I must be tight as I use the money bags that banks give out free :rotfl: they are ideal as you can mark each one with the supermarkets name and if they are in your bag nobody takes any notice as it could be money in the money bag :T
