How do people solve the erm embarrassment of wombling?

Do it as if it is the most natural thing in the world, most people wont even notice if you suddenly bend down and pick something up. The only thing that concerns me a bit is being possibly picked up on camera apparently checking out parked cars, but if you move with purpose...

Think of the untold free money that you are potentially getting. I've picked up about £40 in the last few weeks for relatively little effort.

Remember the news story about the person who had collected a considerable amount for charity by doing this and had been given the blessing of senior Asda management.

    Happy Wombling..

Hi there folks, I'm going to mention a very bad word..... Velvet.

I have today received a letter from them saying they can not processing my winning claim because I "did not enclose the promotional packaging with the red arrow pointing to the bar code".

Now I already had my letter from them stating I will not be receiving my claims due to the fact I played more than once per day, that was at the beginning of April I think. I was going to ring them at the time and give them a piece of my mind but to be honest I never got round to it/got too involved in DTD/just plain forgot about it. I had a few claims sent in 3 x £10 and the last one I sent was for £100 just a few days before receiving the first letter of "we will not be paying you your wins"

I'm not sure which claim this letter is referring to as I sent in barcodes from my packs, but not the promotional packs ... (oops). I have no promotional packs, in fact I have no packs at all now. Haven't played the comp since and haven't bought nor never intended to buy another pack again, ever :rotfl:

Now for the questions, what do you advise I do? Should I ring and ask which claim its for and if its for the £100, go trail around shops for old stock? Certainly for the £10 wins it wouldn't be worth the hassle and petrol.

I've got to add.... knowing my luck it wil be for a £10 win :rotfl:

Couldnt see that you had received an answer so...
I had a similar letter in similar circumstances and intend to send them in a barcode from one of the promo packs which I have amassed.
As they have continued to change the rules at whim I think I would be able to help you out by providing an appropriate barcode. PM me if you still need this.

Go get em! I've wombled for the past 11 days (did the 3 for 11 day holiday thingy) and wombled every day and now have a pile to print tomorrow at work (TUT TUT) saves my ink! This wombling is a good thing - you get exercise walking round the car parks and have the added bonus of a few "wins" on you receipts. Long may it live. So far this month, umm 2 days, have "spent" £124  and paid £14.42:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nice one, thank you Smirnoff...

Front page says "up to £5 off" so looks like it will be a pile of useless little coupons for stuff that no-one wants again :( rather than a fiver conditional spend, but we'll find out shortly;)
At the end of the day the marketing gurus at Tesco have to try and claw back some of their losses from their last venture;)
