Couldn't resist it - got opportunity to go to T's with FD and RTD coupon burning a hole in my pocket :rotfl:
Got 3 more meal deals with Turners, 3 small JP's on 3 for £4 (picked most expensive ones at £2.29) so that wine discount kicked in (-£1.85), some Seabrook crisps using £1 MOC (I know people have said they'r e not nice, but I'll give them a go), a nice pizza (used to give a good return on DTD) and some diet coke cans (125 points coupon) for a top line £82, paid £22 and got nearly 900 clubcard points (used my free 650 points coupon from Tesco World Mastercard:D). Should get another RTD back for £20 if pizza works.
Second shop had free Appletiser fridge pack £4.28 and some Redbush tea, on offer at 83p - used 40p coupon that came with free sample, paid 43p - love itIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

So today I went to Mr T's to spend my moc. I though just before I go and do my shop I will just check at cs that they are going to accept them. I was told by the snooty young girl that they did not accept any manafatures coupons printed from the internet and it was Tesco policy as a company that they did not accept them. Fine I said I will go and shop elsewhere that do accept them. Off I went to the carpark and got straight on the phone to head office. Head office told me that the girl was wrong in what she had said and as long as they have a barcode they will accept them and can claim the money back. The young lad said if I would like to go in and do my shopping he would contact the store straight away and tell them they have to accept the internet coupons. Off I went back into the store with coupons in hand just waving them enough for the girl to see to do my shop.
My £47 pound shop cost me £30 bargain cos included in that was a birthday cake for little un!
happy me or what!!:DIf it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!0 -

Not a good day today went to mr T to get a few things wanted a meal deal but all signs taken down thought it was strange so went to CS to be told head office had pulled it as there was some kind of trouble with it and they could not sell it as a meal deal anymore. So that one i missed. Then went to pay using coupons as always all went fine untill my appletiser coupon from coinks was scaned sa said it is saying do not accept coupon called superviser who took coupon to CS came back and said we cant take it we have been told if a coupon does not scan we cant take it no more manual inputs. So enough of mr T i head mr S thinking i could get venus razors on offer get there no offer go to CS and am told online offers are not all in store even phoned and told the same online and in store are different not linked. so all in all a bad day hey ho maybe next time lol
My fault. I saw the price online this morning and assumed it'd be the same price instore. I went to sainsburys and it was still £7, even asked, and yep, still £7. How can it be, its on offer at both asda and boots. They are stupid. People make the effort to go to the shops, and they get told stuff is cheaper online. Maybe we should all sit on our bums all day, and let the supermarkets close, cos no one is actually physically shopping in them!.
Anyway, i went and got two dvds, and three tops from sainsburys, tops fit me, which is a surpise, usually stuff is too small
Mine had 25% off and also a little half price on womens clothes section.
~~
Is it true then that, say i have a £2 off a £5 spend coupon from say....morrisons, i can use this in sainsburys?.

Victoria_Meldrew wrote: »Anyone know when the Meal deal at Tesco with the Turners Rd wine will end? Bought the meal deal on Sunday but didn't realise that you could choose items that are not on the meal deal shelves til I read it on here.
Not sure if anyone has replied to this, but its advertised online to last until 7/6/2011 with the Turners.
However there are stories of stores pulling the promotion in store. I have had it one store where they told me they were rotating stock and had temp suspended it, yet went into another today and bought 2 meals deals and it was advertised. Mind you I had to go and find the wine in the wine aisle, and it wasn't on the stand with the other 'meal deal' wines, and the SEL didn't indicate it was part of the deal, but still went through as £10. All I can assume is that are trying to 'hide' it.
I supose if they have it advertised online as on offer until 7/6 then they have to stick to it
Oh and in relation to swapping other items that are not on deal, I'm not too sure about that, but you can subsitute a dessert for another side and vice versa
Hope this helps0 -
