I just getting into using coupons and Im ending up with lots of small bits of paper (after cutting coupon off) While my kids will happily use them for drawing and whatnot, I was thinking that its a bit wasteful. I was wonderig if it had ever been suggested that when someone discovers and prints a new coupon, they put in the post where on the paper it printed? For example, the airwick ones - tiny bit of unnecessary writing at the top, then coupons at the bottom, so after first print, turning page over and upside down means you get more coupons onto the one page. Obv this is more useful on single print ones, when you dont see the pdf first!

Where this has been noted regarding where on the page it prints the MOC, Idlesaver has added this to details in her first post

hi DW
i manage to do it your way too, i've been lucky with my tesco with regards to any coupons though.
i only said aesop was right as i thought i'd read in here a while back a post where someone said you had to spend the value of each coupon.
i might be wrong though ,i may just have misread a post , will try and find itDr.Who-Who wrote: »UkC is talking about 3 x £5 moc from the same supermarket ( be it 3 x £5 Morris, or 3 x £5 Sainsbury or 3 x£5 Co-op). In that case Aesop is correct you have to spend the full total of £90 to use £15 moc except Morris you have to spend full total of £120 ( but we savvy do not do that!:D we split our moc's with other moc's for full impact).
MT you are wrong there, Moromir does not have to spend £100 to use Sains £6 & Morris £5 as they are totally different supermarket.
For eg : today I used : MOC consist of £5 (wys £30) Co-op, £5 morris (wys £40), £4 sains (wys £20), so I have to spend at least £40 to use all these moc + £20 DTD :
total coupon used £45 for £46 : cash paid £1 ( 3 lots of meal deals & extras stuff that I can get RTD back).0 -
this it the most recent one DW

but there is a much earlier one somewhere.Although some people post they have used multiple condititional spends, this is not the rule.....unless you spend the total of the amounts allowed....last week I did a £72 shop and had 2 conditional spends refused 1 x £2 off 20 and 1x 35 off £40 ...told I could not use 2 in 1 shop...I have to say this was exceptional as have always used 2 before when my shop is for the total amounts, in this case at least £60.....the rule is to spend the total of the amounts, but a lot of T's will let you use them all in one shop, but if you are refused you cannot argue the point as they are quite correct....I do think when people post they have used multiple conditional spends they should point out the fact that have been very lucky, thus avoiding the confusion of newbies thinking this is the norm....also the rule for acceptance of conditional spends is.....the total of your shopping after bogofs must be the amount of conditional spend moc.....so if your shop total is £30 after bogofs and you have a £5 off £40 it may be refused....I agree some T's don't seem to know this and take them but my local T's is a stickler for this and always checks before taking them...they never take multiples unless the total reaches or exceeds the amounts, last weeks experience was as I said exceptional and very annoying, but it is that particular stores policy and there is no arguing with it.....hth
See the first page as to which chains conditional spends can be used in Tesco at the moment...they can and do change their policy on this0
