    Good Morning all!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but Quoia and Nudge over on today's newspaper thread have posted some good vouchers in the papers (mega thanks to them both). These are the ones that caught my eye -

The Sun: Free lego in WHSmiths, Free Moshi Monster Stickers from any Topps stockists, and a coupon for Pizza and unlimited salad in Pizza Hut for £5 - not bad for 60p outlay!

The Express: Free Fisher Price Toy in Toysrus and Smyths, and also a voucher for a free small loaf in Greggs (value £1.20) - again only 70p to buy the paper!

Guess which shops / restaurants I'm going to today?!!;)

Hope everyone has a good day!

    xx:)

Said I would report back about using the NOTW coupon in Mr T tonight. Went to young SA who said he has to check if he could take it as he wasn't sure. Called a supervisor over who said she couldn't take it. I kept smiling and informed her that I had called Head Office and also checked with CS and was told it was OK. She said it was a photocopy. I assured her it was not. She said it was from the NOTW and I said yes but had got it from the internet. I asked her to check with CS as I really would like to use it. I kept smiling but then did suggest that she try scanning it to save her the walk to CS. She did scan it and hey ho it worked. She then saw the rest of the pile of coupons and informed me that I had to buy all the items. I assured her I had bought them all and offered to take them out of my bags to show her, but she said it was OK and just scanned them all.
    I came home very happy.

I had the same problem yesterday, young lad on checkout more than helpful, had trouble with the notw voucher , called a trout over who said no it had to be out of the paper, stood my ground and 2 nd supervisor said yes.I think if you ACT like you are correct and confident they do whats right. I may be wrong but im sure Mr t's tills know if you have got the items, i gave over 3 lenor vouchers instead of 2 and he said you havent purchased this item .:D

having worked at wilkinsons before, they dont scan the coupons they have to enter it in the till, so it is worth a try if you find a dopey looking SA which in wilkos isn't hard ;)

I would definitely ring CS about the petrol voucher. Not sure about the overcharge, but can you go back into store today and get double the overcharged amount refunded? I am not sure if it has to be the same day but I am sure someone else will come along and correct me if I am wrong. If not, certainly worth a mention on the phone to CS. They might sent you a card in the post for the value.

Totally agree about ACTING like you are correct and confident. That is exactly what I said to hubby on the way out. A short while ago I would have just said OK, thanks and walked away. Not now, after reading what some of you do, it has certainly given me much more confident to stand my ground. :j
