I'm fascinated as to how you devised the 'hit list'. I see I'm on it but I don't understand why as I thought I had hit the thanks button in the first few threads. Do I need to thank the same posts daily?

I am fairly new to this thread and have been busy reading. Just started to print some coupons for shopping later, but am extrememly low on colour ink in my printer. I have changed the settings for my printer to black only but the coupons still print in colour. Don't want to run out of ink so is there any way that I can print the coupons in black only please?

reading backwards, and don't think anyone has replied.

When you go to printer settings, I think it is advanced settings, you need to change the print to black ink, draft, and use greyscale. (if your printer has this) and it will print in scales of black, rather than heavily using your black ink, draft also means it prints using less black ink ,and it shouldn't print in colour.

when there were coupons available at Sainsburys during a promotion where you could buy nappies and cleaning stuff and it would give you more coupons, and you could use both coupons - nappy and cleaning stuff in one go, S soon cottoned on how many people were doing it and how much they were losing, so they stopped it to only one coupon per redemption, although it was still printing the new coupon.

So maybe, your local store have cottoned onto the fact that it is free? Did you choose the original? As the voucher is only supposed to be the original. That is what I chose at both S and T. When I went to T on Saturday, it was £1.xx for the original, but I wasn't complaining at paying xxp for it!

And the SA kept checking with me that I had bought all the items I had given him vouchers for, and I said yes, I only buy the items I have coupons for. He said he had to check, which is fair enough.

i've been taking my coupon items seperately to the SS tills anyway as i don't do a great deal of shopping and lot less hassle. Put items through seperately as appears only accept one per transaction although I have had a few kind SAs put them all through, depends who you get really

Used three coupons yesterday to stock up on fairy washing up liqued, 2 in one sainsburys then 1 in the other as they would not accept 2 coupons.

Had a really good shop yesterday, am loving this couponing saving me a fair bit of money and being able to get some products to use in the future.

Keep using the quantamatic coupons in asda and have loads of the starter kits to go with the finish tablets that i got on DTD at tesco, have about 18months worth of dishwasher tablets now!

    Thanks every one!

I've been looking to buy 2 starter kits so I can use 2 £5 vouchers against them, as on Tesco shelf in my local it says £8.14 each or 2 for £10 and states starter kits and refills, but they never have the starter kits. Bah!.....I don't have a dishwasher myself but both my sisters do so I was trying to get them a starter kit each. I was assuming once you have a starter kit you don't need another, just refills....so how come people are stocking up on starter kits. The MOC's do not state starter kits or refills so I'm assuming I can't get refills with them.

    i must say sorry
i ask those daft questions once in a while but i can say hand on heart say i only use the correct voucher to item.like you say its the cashiers that get in trouble.
that and the embarassment of me getting caught out is enough to stop me.
was talking to cashier today in M's and she took a asda one by mistake and they had words, poor thing
but in tescos im have my fav cashiers who know i use coupons and a couple of days ago she scan my coupons without checking i'd bought items , it was only after i paid she thought about it. luckily and to her relief i always buy the correct items.

like you said though each to their own

today in Asda the SA said to me sorry i can only accept a couple of these coupons, you should ahve really bought some airwick products
    :rotfl::T:A
he was very embarrassed and apologetic when i showed him the three aquamist's in my bag!!! Then he took my 4 coupons for my 4 huggies starter boxes without a peep!:rotfl::rotfl:

    and i only paid £3 for a £28 pound shop!!!:T
