Hello peeps!
I thought I'd pop in and see how everyone is - how the devil is everyone? Thanks for making me smile by listing me as one of your graduates (thanks InaPickle - what a lovely idea).
I can say that this thread truly helped change my life - (uh-oh the dramatic bit...) I definitely have more pennies in my purse and definitely have less half empty bottles and tubes laying around now. I get great satisfaction at using stuff up. I have only a small container to keep any small stash in so that's a constant reminder to be a good girl. I'm still buying stuff at great MSE time - such as my fav Clarins cleansers at bonus time. I've been pining after an Origins mega mushroom (sounds horrible I know) face mask but turned my nose up at the £30 price tag. Went to Swindon designer outlet and got one for £30 plus a couple of other products too - so much better deal (not that I am tempting any of you!).
In fact I'm doing so bl**dy well at keeping stuff to a minimum that when I left stuff behind on holiday last week - I had to top up! Pretty much straight away.
Anyway I don't want this post to sound all pompous n stuff as it took 15 long months to get to a reasonable stash stage - so my words of advice are...
1. Stop beating yourself up, you've got the stuff, so get on with using it, or gifting it
2. Be smug about how much pampering you're doing - all that slathering of stuff is paying off, you glossy girls!
3. In the spirit of the rose candle philosophy, enjoy the good stuff now.
Take care girls (and any boys not scared off!) xxxDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Evening everyone
My first IN of the month!
In March with my BS LYB card birthday gift I got a Peppermint foot scrub. Well it is nice to use but is no more "scrubby" than a general body scrub and I nearly bought the foot rescue cream but then thought I would look elsewhere.
Anyway, I have just spent my birthday amazon voucher on a Crabtree & Evelyn La Source 60 Second Fix For Feet. It was reduced from £22 to £9.65 for a full size foot scrub and cream and free delivery. I am really chuffed as my feet need some serious attention and I have been using my hand cream instead but it doesn't help much when my feel are hot and achy.
Has anyone tried these products before and are they any good?
(My loyalty to L'occitane is wavering but £17.50 :eek:for a shea butter foot cream is now a no-no for me)0 -
I'm in please :j0

Count me in for may! :j
I'll catch up and post my list when I get homex

Count me in again please!
I'm still aiming to maintain a well groomed appearance with the products I have, and replenish my Holy Grails at the best price possible, as close to when I need to replace them as possible - but otherwise - to spend my money on more worthwhile pursuits.
I don't want to create a clutter issue, or build up a stash.
If I have more than a years supply of something then I don't need to buy it no matter how bargainous it is. (I struggle with that one!)
I also have enough make up to make all of us up on a daily basis until the end of time,so I'm trying not to buy much of that. ("Much" being a relative term being less than "a lot" which is what I would buy if unrestrained.:D )
Danger points for me are 3 for 2 at Boots, the ASOS sale, QVC in general, but especially when Bobbi Brown or Mally Beauty are on, and The beauty counters in department stores.
Good luck ladies!:dance::dance:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

 But the pics were so BIG!
I was embarrassed at how huge they were. That somehow made my rather unnecessarily large collection of make up look even worse!
I have rearranged my Bobbi Brown eye shadows all into six pan palettes though - so I could do some pics!:D:rotfl:
