Lawnmower pullcord stuck!

Hi,

I've got a Briggs & Stratton mower with a pull cord to start the engine. The cord is stuck fully extended - any ideas how I can get it back to where it should be??

Cheers Ormus - once I could see how it should work, I managed to free the tangle. Lawn looks good!:)

if it's stuck fully out (rather than snapped) it's odds on the recoil spring has broken

one of the plastic 'arms' which sits above the recoil spring had come out of place.
