With what can I replace wine in a recipe?

As a Muslim, I don't use any alcohol, and have never found out what do use as substitute for wine in a recipe. I usually just don't bother with any recipes that call for it, but there are some that I would love to try if there is any sub. Eg, I wanted to do this recipe today with ray wings…

I wouldn't either. There is a risk some would remain in the food, so i wouldn't use it. Thank you all for your help. I shall no longer avoid recipes which call for it.
