i have worked for the same company for the last seven years, and went part-time two years ago to do my nursing degree i have just received this letter from them.
dear scott
i am aware from the recent information you have provided me with; that you are now in a more sustained period within you nursing course.
this it seems is going to have a greater impact on your ability to manage your current position as a part-time worker.i feel it would be useful to meet and discuss this and the future impact.
regards
now the placement time is no different from what i have been doing and this has never been an issue,i work 32 hours on placement, which leaves me 3 days a week to do my 16 hours part-time work.any advice that i could take to my meeting would be most welcome.
thanks
scott

What information DID you provide them with? Can't you just write back and say what you have said above? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

You have the option of re-writing that sentence so that we can understand what the question is.....If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Id say your placement wouldnt impact on the job, how many weeks is left of the placement or is it due to start0
-
it is just due to start0

does the placement dictate your hours and are your current hours flexible or dictated by work? The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

So you're saying that due to your placement, you can now only do your part time job over 3 particular days, and you want them to change your hours/rota to accommodate this? (or can they refuse?)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
The way i see it is that the OP's 3 work days are set eg same 3 days each week
could be wrong0 -

He said the placement time is no different from what he had been doing....so I can't see what information he has given them and thus - it's hard to comment further.
