    It is not worth the debate ,lets stop being subjects and commoners ,I know I have .God save is all ,not just the Queen .

    The Duke of Edinburgh actually earned his medals during his service in WW2 - a couple of 'em are gallantry / merit awards. None of them are fake.

    Light travels faster than sound - that's why you can see someone who looks bright until they open their mouth.

    Quite correct. A short bow of the head is the correct thing to do if in civilian clothing on occasions when one would normally salute (in uniform).
