Was deffo the peugoet ion, thought it looked a bit pug like from the rear originally.
Still can't believe how expensive it is though. If it was £20k cheaper it would probably appeal. Almost.
yep all cars are getting ott.reading in the sun motoring page yesterday a mini has a 2ltr diesel shoehorned into it and with a few "exclusive " badges and trim etc they are charging close to £20,000.for a mini!!!!:eek:counting down the time I got left.:beer:0 -
Yes but a well looked after BMW ( basically VW) deisel engine can last for a good 200,000 miles or more. Brand new cars are only good value for money IMO if your are keeping them for 5 years +. Although i love cars and like to have nice things, i would never buy a brand new car. From England - Live in Edinburgh and work as a bus driver0

what does the ION really offer as a car though. small boot, next to no interior to make room for passenger and leg room, has a massive unafordable in reality price tag, and the reality of expensive repair bills come anything that brakes and looks a bit silly in exterior features.
just to "save in fuel" lower road tax and help the enviroment. i dont see any saving to be had from this particular car with its large price tag even with the goverments 10 grand sub to help with the cost. £415 excluding vat that just shy of £500 per month.
theres no colour choices, not even trim levels. its a mitsi in light alteration design but i wounder just how much pug screwed things up with their "electricals" wich are nutorious for failure.
electric cars seem to be the way forward, no getting from that, but at the moment its an upper class's toy to add to a collection of "rare cars" that i suspect this car will become.0
