NO balance transfer fee and 0% APR

i seen CREDITS CARDS which have 0% APR but have 3% or so BT fee.

I need a card which has NO balance transfer fee and 0% APR interest even if its only for a few months.

Any one know one?

The only one looks like satander zero but you'd have to get a current account with them first and pay in at least £1000 per month (I am pretty sure you can take it out again).

3% is around 2 months interest, assuming you're on a typical 16.9% rate now?

Alternatively, consider the M&S card Sterling travellers cheque loophole which will bag you 15 months 0% for a 1% fee.

Those were the days! I started stoozing in April of that year and by early June we'd amassed an £80K stooz pot...and every last penny of it was from fee-free BTs.

Can't remember what savings interest rates were back then (5% maybe?) but I do remember drawing nearly £250 a month after tax from ING Direct.

so the BT was introduced as a counter measure to stoozing. So thanks to stoozers everyone else has to pay BT

Absolute nonsense! I'd wager that rate tarts, ie those like yourself (by the sound of it?) carrying real debt, outnumber stoozers by many hundreds/maybe thousands to one.

Stoozers simply jumped on the bandwagon that was the card providers desire to increase market share/make money from debt-carriers at the end of 0% promotions.

My conscience is very clear. ;)
  • The lowest balance transfer fee card I know on the UK scene at the moment, that still offers a meaningful 0% period is the Play.com credit card.

If you BT within 90 days, the fee is only 1.5% and the card gives 6 months of 0%. There's also 9 months of 0% on card purchases as well as rewards points.

No transfers from MBNA (who underwrite the card) or Virgin however.

If you want a totally 0 balance transfer fee the best you can currently do is on a low rate for life credit card like the Barclaycard Simplicity, 7.9% Representative APR and no BT fee.

I would recommend the M&S one, 15 months 0% on purchases and if you "purchase" M&S sterling travellers cheques you can bank them and effectively have 15 months 0% BT too with just a 1% fee.
