Scotrail not working - no such user, cant pay, or error code E00328

Options
Ive signed up to scotail correctly, but after clicking to finally pay for my journey and entering my bank password, the website simply redirects me back to its login screen, asking me to login once again! :( I tried to pay via visa debit, but I dont think thats related to the problem, as when I try and login, sometimes its tells me that no such user exists, and I cant even get it to always resend me a new password either! One out of five attempts I get an error code E00328 with "no availability" despite the website always showing me the times, as if still available. I have tried other browsers and I dont have any protective software ruining the whole procedure..

I will try going up to the station tomorrow, if they arent having a royal holiday, lol. Is anyone else having issues with the site, and if not, will I get the exact same prices, as shown online, at the station? Thanks for any help

If you are paying by visa debit, I'm not sure what your bank password has got to do with it?
  • By bank password are we talking about that extra security thing that pops up when paying by debit card? I get that with my HSBC debit card, it's a separate login but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it sorry! :)

Verified by Visa is what you are trying to recall I think
  • yeah I meant verified by visa, sorry. I never did get it to work, since it wasnt a browser issue it must have been their own website having issues, so the relations ended up booking the megabus for that same journey instead at the last min-I could have telephoned scotrail, but wasnt sure if there was a difference in prices compared to the net. I eventually got a reply from scotrail, they said sorry with a £5 off voucher. I dont think the voucher is redeemable online, and no doubt the web is alot cheaper than buying at the railway.. but thumbs up to them for replying at least :) thanks
