well, almost ... some graveyards have 'rules' about what can go on gravestones, I seem to remember a ridiculous fuss about not being allowed to say Dad or Daddy (had to be Father) or something equally senseless!
As I said before there are some rules set by local councils that is one of them.. rude/cuss words are probably not allowed eitherLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Quote from our local funeral directors. Each LETTER costs £12 so should cost about £600 or more then there is £400 to remove three pieces of marble round the grave so that she could be buried and this will include replacement of the marble and £100 to remove and replace headstone. The cost of my mothers funeral would have been £6000.00 if she hadn't already bought a plot and wanted to be buried rather than cremated. Prices quoted in Feb 2013. Better get saving up. Apparently a plot is going to go up very soon. Need to check this out. Better get saving.0
