I am currently paying about £50 per month for the basic Sky package (approx £20 for Sky) plus the home phone, this seems excessive to me particularly as I do not use the home phone apart from the odd local call. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Basic Sky TV service is £19.50, what other services do you have and how does the other £31.50 break down? Can you downgrade your call package?
PS: there is no such thing as a 'local' call. All rates are national. No free lunch, and no free laptop
