Anybody heard if the Yorkshire are raising their rates?
They seem very late in announcing any changes.

Need to visit our local branch as well as we do have their children's one day account and E-saver account.0

They're leaving it very late. Normally, they're one of the first to announce rate changes.0

I agree, YBS are taking too long to announce what they intend to do following November's BOE rate rise.
On the thisismoney 'Has your savings rate risen?' webpage, one of the comments from Peter from Cheshire doesn't bode well.
I hope what he was told isn't correct. Perhaps, YBS were only referring to their e-saver. Here is it.Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
I was hopeful yesterday when I saw that parts of the YBS website were not available due to essential systems upgrade work - thought that might be a euphemism for adding the new interest rates.
But no - still no movement. Very disappointing. Only got an e-ISA, but will definitely think twice before adding anything else."Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -
Does look like they are not changing.
I think they seem to have donme this over the past few years.
They were a top(ish) isa payer for a couple of years then they dropped back a bit - then caught up and now are dropping back a lot.
I suspect they will catch up again at the next rise or before the next tax year whichever happens first.
If only ns&i accepted transfers.0 -
I was also waiting for a rate increase announcement from YBS to transfer from mediocre bank e-isa to top BS. Have been waiting to transfer since earlier rate rise. What to do now? Decisions, decisions. NS&I for next years allowance but where to transfer to for existing ISA savings?0

Told me today they "were currently looking at their rates".Ethical moneysaver0

Branch told me Head Office may be looking at the rates at the moment because new bond rates are coming out.
Lets hope we have good news soon.
I will be crossing everything though, they did only say may.0 -
Of course the may be waiting to see how many jump ship before reacting. I'm not with YBS, but my ING cash is now gettING (lol) a few more quid.
For some strange reason, I'm not one of their "customers who prefer a stable rate" - don't remember them trotting that one out when they were dropping rates...0
