Hi
Hoping someone can help - thinking of buying an old cast iron bath that would need reconditioning, thinking sandblasted and re-enamelled but wondering how much it would cost and if it would be cheaper just to buy one brand new.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi Handyman...was it very difficult to do?? I worry about it being covered in tramlines!! Does it look nice smooth... Also, don't suppose you have any experience with tile paint do you? I'm trying to tart up my bathroom a bit before I sell the house. Any tips would be appreciated.0 -
pp, its all on the trustedtradesman link, very easy, no tram lines. Main thing is to spend the time using wet/dry sandpaper, as i feel this is the key to success.go on, adopt a greyhound
