Hudson Reed shower pack - too good to be true?

Hello everyone

I was wondering if someone could help me with the above. I am in the market for a quality thermostatic mixer shower pack for a decent price and have found this:

http://www.wdbathrooms.co.uk/prestige-shower-pack.html

Having searched on the web for the last hour or so that seems a very cheap price for a complete shower pack.

I have seen varying opinions on Hudson Reed on the forums and, to be honest, had never heard of them previously.

I'd be interested to hear what MSE members' views are of the pack above and of Hudson Reed in general.

Thanks a lot

I

I have a condensing boiler in a gravity fed system. I plan to install a twin impeller shower pump between the HW tank and the mixer to boost the flow rate.

How much water do your HWC and CWST each hold?

The HWC holds 114 l. Not sure about the CWST but it's a biggie in the loft.

I'm having the shower installed as part of other building works and I did suggest to the builder that it may be worth replacing the HWC with a larger one as the airing cupboard has lots of space. The builder didn't think it was worth it - but that was before I had decided on which shower I was likely to go for.

Are you sure - thats only 25 gallons which won't last very long at all. I think you should check with your builder in case both need upgrading to cope.
