Contrary to what has been said above, this is a heat pump so is effectively more than 100% efficient. They claim that 810W of electricity gives 3000W of heat. No idea if this is the cheapest/best etc. it is just the first one that google found. Anyone can use economy seven it but as you say aimed at people with storage heaters. There is as the above poster has stated ait to water heat pump really a decent heating engineer would be able to advise best.0
