went to PAH to buy a sulpher block to put in the dogs water bowl for the summer & they don't stock them - are they still a valid way of keeping a dog cool in the summer or is there something new on the market these days?

I've never heard of Sulpher Blocks
but on a really warm day - especially if we have to go out and know the dogs will be shut in the house for a bit - we put ice cubes in the water so they melt slowly and keep the water from getting too warm

Try the pet stall on your local market
they tend to deal more 'old style' merchandise (and are usually cheaper too!) :heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

Our pet shop still sells them, in a little stripey box
I dont know if they have ever been any use to be honest.
You can get gel bandanas if the dogs are really hot, that you put in the freezer.0
