Hi, just had a look but can't seem to find anything. Is there a thread or anything with help on how to do a meal plan? I just starting Slimming World and would really like to plan my meals in advance. I'm really indecisive and I'm struggling a bit though!
Sorry for crashing the thread and thanks ;D

    Hi sharloid,

Thanks for starting the thread JulieG x
This is us for the week as far as I know at the moment - but a spanner could get in the works at any time:-

    Saturday 30th – Ate out
    Sunday 1st – Steak & mushroom pie
Monday 2nd – Chicken with cream & mushrooms or BBQ
    Tuesday 3rd – Bacon & cabbage
    Wednesday 4th – Freezer surprise

Have a freezer bursting with left over home made meals or stashed because of batch cooking. It has to get eaten!!!
Good luck for keeping to plans this week, Silver x

Hi everyone - long time lurker who has read and learnt over the last three years or so.

Today Savoury mince, brown rice and salad (job lot of mince cooked 2 weeks ago with celery, onion, green pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, cubed aubergine or courgette and a couple of tsps of cajun seasoning) Boeuf creole if we're going to be posh.
Tomorrow I shall probably make Madhur Jaffrey's hard boiled egg curry as I am in on my own. DH will have pasta and HM roasted tomato sauce out the freezer before he goes to his rehearsal
Tuesday Fish out of the freezer - not sure exactly what's in there!
Wednesday Bella Italia for me - dinner with former colleagues - DH can feed himself with a baked spud, cheese and beans or tuna
Thursday Leftovers from yesterday's pork joint out of freezer, with roast potatoes and veg
Friday DH has always had fish and chips from the chipper on a Friday - as long as he pays for it I don't mind!

Update: Change of plan for today. We had beans on toast for lunch and DH has raided the flapjack tin rather than have a meal before he went out. Upshot is that I have had curry made with the left over pork earmarked for sandwiches today. Cat liked it as well, so that one was a success!

Right not posted on here before so here goes:

    this week we are eating

lamb shanks, roast pots, cabbage and leeks, carrots, peas

    bacon pasta bake

Toad in the Hole-sausages are 99p in Sainsburys

pork and pepper casserole in the slow cooker-whoopsied pork pieces hoping to get cheap peppers in Lidl

quorn curry with mushrooms and peppers

umm that's as far as I've got but am fancying panfried lambs liver with onions and gravy.

I need to buy peppers, more onions, milk, bread. My housekeeping week starts again Wednesday.

Breakfasts are soaked oats with apple, sultanas, seeds yoghourt/fromage frais for OH-better fire up the Easyo then, porridge, toast or cereal.

Lunches are sandwiches and fruit for DH and DS, soup or sandwiches on work days (2) for me.

Quite interesting to put it all on paper.

    Have a good week.
