Morning, JulieGeorgiana, thanks for starting this week's mealplan thread. :) Here's mine for the week:

Saturday - Cheese & Bacon Quiche with Salad
Sunday - Possibly a barbecue, weather dependant
Monday - Roast Pork, Roast Potatoes & Trimmings
    Tuesday - Lasagne
Wednesday - Not sure, possibly a stir fry
Thursday - Toad in the Hole
    Friday - Meaty Pasta

Not doing any baking as we've stuff to eat up from Easter yet and we're both trying to lose a few pounds for summer. Breakfasts will be cereals (and I'll be trying to eat breakfast from now on!) and there's plenty of fruit to snack on. The one exception to the baking rule will possibly be a banana loaf cake to use up some of the blackening nanaridge in the fruit bowl. Have a good week, everyone.

Yes, thanks for starting the thread.

I didn't post last week because I was effectively using the previous week's plan which had been derailed by a visit from my son and grandchildren.

This week might need a bit of reworking depending on what the weather decides to do.

Breakfasts: mainly value muesli or oats soaked in apple juice

Lunches: leftovers, soup from freezer, salads

Vegetables: lots of leeks and the last of my purple sprouting broccoli before it all goes to seed and parsnips before they dry out plus hg beetroot, peas, and runnerbeans from freezer plus bought carrots, cabbage and celery plus salad veggies.

Puddings & Treats: banana cake, eve's pudding, fresh fruit

    Dinners:

    Sat: poached salmon, creamed potatoes

Sun: Roast chicken, stuffing, roast potato

Mon: courgette and tomato dahl, rice

Tue: liver & onions & bacon in gravy. mash

Wed: king prawns with seafood sauce (Iceland special), green salad

    Thu: grilled steak, saute potatoes

Fri: cheese & potato pie, lots of veggies

    Right, change of plan :o:

Friday - sausage, bean and mushroom pasty with salad

Saturday - chicken parmigiana with griddled courgettes and pasta
Sunday - Moroccan meatball stew with courgettes and LF garlic bread
Monday - cheese and olive salad with HM olive swirl rolls
    Tuesday to Thursday:
courgette and basil pasta bake (are you starting to see a courgette-y theme here? I've got a veg drawer full of the things!)
chicken and polenta bake with veggies (yep, including courgettes ;))
harissa-marinated halloumi and veg kebabs (including... I think you get the idea! :rotfl:) with wholemeal pitta bread

The change of plan is partly due to the fact I can't find seafood mix anywhere in Portsmouth (no seafood in a seaside town?!), and partly due to a visit to a farmer's market today so I now have loads of nice cheese. ;)

Back after a very long break!

Hi, just had a look but can't seem to find anything. Is there a thread or anything with help on how to do a meal plan? I just starting Slimming World and would really like to plan my meals in advance. I'm really indecisive and I'm struggling a bit though!
Sorry for crashing the thread and thanks ;D

Just because I feel bad doesn’t necessarily mean someone else is doing something wrong.

Just because I feel good doesn’t necessarily mean what I am doing is right.
