Freeview - how to connect to it

Options
Hi there
My friend has just moved into a flat where there is only a sky connection (as in a lead to a communal sky dish) and no aerial connection. She wants to get a Freeview box as she can't afford sky. Does a freeview box need an aerial connection?

it needs a GOOD aerial connection...if she is in a strong reception area then a TV top type aerial may work

A freeview box needs an aerial but like Browntoa said an indoor aerial for the top of the tv will work, thats what we have upstairs in the bedroom and it's brill. Goodluck
