Hi i am in a 6 year IVA and am struggling already after only 4 months due to my partner being on long term sick and might not be able to return to work. I owe approx 44k and should be paying back approx 24k over 6 years. I am trying to raise 3rd party funds from a family member to do a f+f payment. I have been reading on here to offer between a third and half of what you owe. I think the most I can raise is £8 to £10k which is a long way off the 44k which I owe. Does anyone Know what chance i have of such a low offer being accepted ? The alternative may well have to be banckrupcy where no-one would get anything.Most of the dept is with Northern Rock.
