Vehicle write off value
Options
My Uncle who is old,has had an accident and the insurance has decided the car is a write off.
The car is an 04 plate Honda Jazz automatic in very good condition with every extra,it had covered aproximately 44000 miles.
They offered in full write off £3000,as he was still shaken up by the accident and confused about the procedure he verbally agreed this.
However I believe this is very low,I have never seen a Jazz auto for this price.
For the year and condition they all seem to be well over £4000.
How can I help him fight this injustice and get a fair offer for the car,he had only had it just over a year and paid a lot more than this for it

Have a look through Autotader, ebay, pistonheads and exchange and Mart etc and look for other cars of the same spec, print off details or email links to insurance co.
Tell them this is how much it costs to buy another car the same spec as your Uncle's.
Have a look at What car,Parkers etc, they have calculators which will tell you how much it should be worth.
Just a liitle bit of research should help increase what they offer.0
