Hi everyone, i am happy to report that Ozzy came back last night! I burst into tears and we had a very emotional reunion! I emptied the vacume cleaner and his litter tray in the garden and went to run a bath, by the time i had gotten in i heard him meowing :) He has been asleep all day and has been very clingy but has had plenty of hugs and treats.

Thank you all for your help and kind wishes :)

Fantastic news, Laura! I'm so, so pleased for you! I'm not a poster who likes OTT smilies in posts, but:
    :j:j:j:j:j

I've heard three stories, now, where cats have returned after the vacuum cleaner contents have been put outside. I must remember it if either of mine wander off...!

Seems like he got a little lost, but obviously found his way home with the smell.

But in future: update us sooner, will you?!?! :D

ETA - don't forget to let the vets know if they kept your details, and take the posters down. :)
