Present wrapping has got to be one of my favourite Christmas activities. Haven't done it yet as I am trying to wait until our tree arrives :D We put a playpen around it to stop our toddler (and other little visitors) from ripping the parcels open before it's time!

I can't wait to wrap mine up!, the only problem is though that DP has to get them out of the loft first then he will have to put them back up when I have finished, otherwise my 2 Boys (1 and 4) will open them.

I love wrapping! The lifesaver for me though is a sellotape dispenser/holder thingy. Much easier than trying to hold on to paper whilst biting off the tape then biting into your lip instead!!

I have wrapped some tonight, but like others have mentioned, I too get get fed up after a while and the standard of wrapping drops!
Will finish the rest later in the week when Im in the mood again!

I dont really bother making an extra effort on the wrapping for the small children I buy for either, 1 big rip and its all off! I do try with the adults though, ribbons, etc.

I used to wrap as I went along, but often had to undo one end to remind myself what I had bought. One year I found a wrapped present for my husband under the bed...I thought it was a waterproof padded jacket I had made him, but it seemed too heavy, so I opened one end. I don't know which of us was more startled: me, or our cat who, from the state of the jacket, had clearly been sleeping in there for weeks, WITHOUT undoing the sellotape.
Thats brilliant. Just the sort of thing my parents cats would do. You've really made me smile.

I love wrapping presents. I'm going to wait until we put our decorations up so I can put the presents straight under the tree.

I always try to go the whole hog with matching ribbons, box and tags, but always seems to run out before I finish.

Ive started wrapping i have done two sessions so far and usually when the kids are in bed! ... I dont have to worry about buying paper as my DP gets it free from work ;) along with ribbon and bows woohoo

Im going to put the families under the tree nearer the time as my 20mnth old might just help himself to them all !
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!

I always use gluesticks instead of sellotape.
