Hi just a quick question.
Hubby got delivered today 3 points (very kind - 39mph in a 30 mph zone - in a deserted tunnel 4 am)
We need to notify our insurances but wondered will our premium go up straight away or just at renewal?
Thanks

They only remai current for three years but stay on the licence for four. When did you take out the insurance? When he gets the new points added he will have a full licence with three points when anyone does a DVLA check.0

Yes but insurers take them into account for 5 years
He renewed his Insurance 6 months ago I renewed mine last week and he was caught speeding 5 days earlier (even though he only realized today when he got the letter!
Maybe I' ve got a good excuse to stop him driving my car0 -
What Police Force was it?
What colour is the NIP?
He may get offered a speed awareness course.0 -

How can he find out?

Thanks I will check his ins, but mine will need to be declared now because he got the pints 'officially' before I renewed0 -
