oooh....around the 35 quid mark per week......always to first click...pretty reliable method on my car, get within a dribble or two to the same level........I could leave it longer, but I live rurally, so fill up near my work, which is close to major urban are where fuel is cheaper....[Morrisons and Shell, about same price]....mileage variable but never less than a fixed minimum....
so..once a week.....ensures I have enough for unplanned journeys......am averaging around 48-50mpg's, petrol, with an old car [built last century]...which cost around 300 quid....and get's mended as and when needed.....usually by myself....cheap motoring..I like it!No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

I have a petrol budget of £160 a month, but I can get to work on half of that, as long as the roads aren't too busy.:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0

My diesel used to be £43ish quid per month but now it's up to £55, sometimes over. Although since I was away with work for a week this month, and due to the bank holidays I'm only just under half a tank! Woop woop!
Although I am considering walking to work and giving up the car completely0 -
Currently £140 to fill my diesel RangeRover up. Not funny. Bought an old Jeep Cherokee with an LPG conversion on it (£1000) for all my work running about (builder + ground works). Its doing 20mpg but only 78p per litre. £50 to fill. Should have done it years ago.0

£50 to fill up. But don't use it much so usually lasts at least a month.0
