aftermarket bluetooth kit removal?

ive got a 'Parrot' bluetooth kit added to my car that i want to remove, even when ignition is off and key is out there is power to it, a standby light and the screen displays a feint image on it (its a pretty rubbish kit anyway, and doesnt work with my phone) so i want ot remove it, where will it most likely be wired to? and would it be enough to drain my old battery after 2 weeks standing? (I've since replaced the battery)
And is there an easy way of seeing how much current is being drawn/used when my ignition is off?

If wired in correctly it should be plugged into the radio harness. Some cars though do not provide a 12v switched to the radio so it has to be picked up from somewhere else but should be easily traceable. If the lights remain on it usually means it is not wired in correctly but should be quite simple to fix. To make it work with your phone it will probably need a software update.0

As above it's been wired incorrectly. I have a Parrot in my car (self install) and it switches off with the ignition.
Take a look at the Parrot webiste if you decide to rewire and keep it. Firmware updates are on there too.
You say it's rubbish, well I have a Blaupunkt Bluetooth kit as well and the Parrot is certainty the better of the two.0
