I've opened one and transferred money from my esaver Issue 5 but I'm leaving the esaver open as I want an account I can keep adding to (hopefully) and I'm wary of the line in the T&Cs pointed out by previous posters that you can only add to this account as long as it is available.

This seems to be a new thing with Northern Rock but that's what I found a problem with a lot of Leeds esaver accounts - I would get a bond mature and find I couldn't add to the account any more.

I'll phone them later to clarify before I close the esaver.

A condition of the Online Reward Saver is "Only one introductory bonus is payable per customer.". It is not clear to me whether that means across all Northern Rock accounts or that you can only have one ORS account with a bonus. If the former, then you would lose the E Saver bonus.

This only means that you can have one Online Reward Saver for a given issue and qualify for the bonus. If for example an Online Reward Saver 2 was launched, you would qualify for the bonus on both issues. This does not affect the e-Saver 5.
