I've just had my renewed photo card back in the post today.
I've noticed that the new 10 year expiry date on it is down as 10 years from the date they processed my renewal. And not 10 years from my original expiry date.
This means I've been short changed by a month. Is his normal?
Maybe I should of waited until the actual expiry date had reached rather than trying to be good by sending it off in good time.

Nee naw, nee naw. Grammar police has turned up again. "should of" is in no way wrong, you just don't understand the language you think you speak - another example of language ignorance. It comes from earlier Frisian/Dutch. You don't have to use it, which you choose not to do, but in certain English dialects it is totally correct.
Well I WOULD HAVE if it said I would lose time if I posted it early.0 -

If you renew a passport or have an MOT early you don't lose time and there is no reason to do so here apart from an ill considered regulation made by some petty bureaucrat or another who did not think it through.0 -
I said it was normal, I didn't say it was right. I agree it's a nuisance, but shortchanging me 1 month in 10 years, well.... there's more important things to get stressed over!0
